As of mid-July 2017, the tower base was 4.5-5 feet deep.   
The anchors, made of 4x4 plywood with 2x4 framing, were set on an 
angle perpendicular to the guy wires.   These anchors, at 
their lowest point were 4.5-5 feet deep.
